Showcasing an emotionally-charged sound with a revved-up full-on jolt of spirited fun.

The group was first discovered in 2003 when songwriter Emma Dyson teamed up with Guitarist Matt Black and Drummer Mik Destar. Moving from Brisbane, Queensland, to Melbourne, Victoria the trio assembled Pfeiffer. With Jerkysucks Bassist C-Toz Punkker added to the line-up, the four began showcasing their offerings, taking on some of the best venues Victoria has to offer.

A short time later C-Toz Punkker returned to his native Indonesia to record the final tracks for Jerkysucks third Album. In the meantime Pfeiffer recruited bassist Damien ‘Floyd’ Frood to stand in during Punkkers absence.

Pfeiffer recorded their first single ‘The Dumb Are The Educated’ in March 2004 at the renowned Hothouse Studios in Melbourne. With the engineering and production brilliance of Craig Harnath and Finn Keane, Pfeiffer produced what was soon to be a successful debut independent release on their own label Valenteen Records. ‘The Dumb Are The Educated’ went from local to national in a matter of weeks with radio stations around Australia giving it solid rotation and cd sales going well above expectation.

With the return of C-Toz Punkker in November 2004, Pfeiffer fans gave a whole hearted farewell to Floyd at his final show and reveled at the return of Punkker.

A virtual touring machine since the band's inception, Pfeiffer have shared bills with Mightyscoop (NZ), The Drugs, The Disables, Tonjip, The Go-Set and others. Headlining two successful East Coast Tours, Pfeiffer have built a loyal fan base through-out Australia, which is set to grow, with their debut album on the horizon. The promise of a provocative and emotionally powered rock sound is easy to keep for this continually-evolving group.
